Michele

Miller.

I am a multi-faceted artist who grew up being fascinated with character designs, I got my bachelor’s degree in graphic design, I built my online presence with my digital illustrations, and I went to SCAD for animation. My creative journey has taken me on a few detours, but overall all these skills cumillate to create my style of art and ability to story tell in different ways. I then got the amazing opportunity to participate in an animation apprenticeship at Emerge. I am now at SUNY Purchase College getting my degree in Graphic Design. I showcase my art on Instagram and my YouTube channel with 1.5k+ subs showing my drawings and animations.

I’ve had the opportunity to work on exciting projects—from an animation apprenticeship at Emerge to internships at Hachette Book Group, where I’ve designed for major authors like James Patterson and redesigned Abby Jimenez's book Jacket covers to match her most recent book, Just for the Summer. I currently create social media assets, Amazon content, and print materials to support book marketing. Freelance work has included illustration and character design for Rebel Girls, The National Theatre for Children, and four children’s books. I'm also developing my own animated series.

Storytelling is at the heart of everything I do— whether through design, illustration, or animation.
